3E Humanities Assignment for Monday 29 January 2007

First of all, let me remind you that we will be doing Geography on Monday instead of Social Studies.

Now, a very simple assignment for you...

I need you to read pages 21 to 24 of your Geography textbook on Mangrove Forests. After you're done with that, look at pages 9 and 10 of your workbook. In this workbook assignment, you are supposed to come up with questions about mangrove vegetation based on the given photograph (Page 9 shows you an example). The types of question to ask has been indicated in the table. Come up with at least one question for each type. Of course, you must know the answers yourself! Write both the questions and answers in the given table on page 10.

First Lesson Matters for 4/6

I'm sensing a little panic amongst some of you. Let me clarify details for tomorrow (3/1/07).

You get a break - the re-test will NOT be tomorrow. However prepare for it to be on Thursday (4/1/07). We will have one re-test at a time, meaning the Geography re-test will be done in one period while the SS test will be done in another.

For tomorrow's lesson, please bring the set of re-test questions (both subjects) and your Geography textbook.
